Green is my favorite color.

They say that elephants with a trunk extended upward will bring good luck. So, why the hell not?

... Boyfriend and I still have some learning to do, on how to use the new camera. We're getting there. Slowly...

Summer dress and winter shoes.

I just love those sunny days during winter (I know! Technically it's still autumn...but come on, who are we fooling?).

So, of course, as soon as I saw it's gonna be a beautiful sunny day, we had to take a long walk.

We went exploring our beautiful small city, cause there are many more streets and places we haven't seen yet.

Sun in eyes. Yaaay!

The purse is new, well old actually. New to me. Brown one, again. I don't know why, but I have a lot of brown purses. Somehow, in my head, brown purses go with everything. Am I mistaken?

I love this dress, I found it at a flea market, and actually didn't buy it at first. When I came back home, I was so sad I didn't get it. Few weeks later, I was back a the flea market and the lady who was selling the dress, recognized me and told me that the dress was still there, waiting for me. Of course, I bought it.

And now, I am returning to sewing pearls on my sweater.

New camera, old mess.

Every morning for the past month, I get up, dress up, do make up, and then I put some jewelry on... or at least I try to... put some jewelry on. I love wearing jewelry, but somehow, when winter comes... I just can't make myself wear it.

If I put some bracelets, nobody will see them because... long sleeves. Earrings.... cold metal on ears/ neck... Rings...finger shrinks, ring might fall of... and so on.

That doesn't stop me to try them every morning, but still I decide no. Not worth it.
That is why I have a big  pile of jewelry on a small table.

So today, when I came home, knocked some of the jewelry off the table, I decided it was time to clean up.

 ...and do some photographing...

... this is kinda awkward... this isn't a bad quality photo....it's dust on my mirror...

But, yaaaay, new camera, a gift from my awesome dad!

Not to embarrass myself further, this is the finished job. Everything on it's place.

The necklace with green heart is actually filled with a perfume.

Brooches and pins.

Bobby pins.

More necklaces.

Perfumes.

....clean mirror.

I am now gone eating homemade chili with the boyfriend.
Enjoy the weekend!

Coffee

Is there anything better than a coffee after a long, cold day?

...well, there probably is... but I'm satisfied with coffee. For now.

It has been really cold, for some days now,  so I was looking for some new (old) sweaters. I found one, not really that thick to keep me warm in cold days... but...layers layers layers!

I like this creamy/peachy color. It's gonna go wonderfully with anything.

Why don't they make this lovely details anymore?

That is why I love Second Hand Shopping. You never know what will you found.

Winter is close.

So,  I was... let's go with... surprised to learn winters are milder where I live now, to where I lived before.
I mean... come on, it's only 600 kilometers apart.

But yes, it is warmer here... I am not complaining... I'm just used to be more cold.

I now understand why my boyfriend was so shocked to see that much snow last winter when we were at my parents house, cause there isn't so much snow here!

Don't misunderstand me, it's still cold here and I'm still gonna need to do a lot of layering.

That is why, I am always in the search for a good, vintage, button down sweater.

Even though we have a lot of second hand shops here, neither is specialised for vintage clothing. So I have to  be resourceful.

I found a white sweater at one of  the second hand shops, and I really loved it when I bought it. But when I tried it again back at home, it looked so... plain.

Now what? I should improve it! But how?
I don't have the slightest idea.

It bugged me for days, and then an idea popped in. Beads. Pearls to be presize. I decided to go and buy some big, white and cheap ones.

Then, one day I was at the green market and nearby is this old flea market. I decided to go, just to see what is offering, and there they were... necklaces with small, creamy pearls. They were perfect! Cheap and fake, but way more better than the ones I had in mind.

That's what I'll be doing this week.
Improving a sweater.

Too much...

Too much time has passed since I last posted. But, between sister visiting me at my new home, being sick, starting a new business with my lovely boyfriend and going visiting my parents, I just didn't have any strength left in my body. But now I'm back!

The boyfriend and I went for a walk, and on the way we made a friend.

He reminded us of our dogs, which we have to leave behind with our families, when we moved in together.

...and even though I miss my dogs, family (especially, when I saw that my mom carved a pumpkin for me, on Halloween to surprise me) it's all worth it, to be with the love of my love.

Time for new hair style.

One year ago I had a moment of insanity, and went to a hairdresser to chop of my long, long hair.

The next morning, when I woke up, I realised that I have maybe done a mistake.

I so got used to doing my hair in certain styles, just to realise most of those styles can't be done with hair which length is above shoulders.

On the other hand, I found out that doing victory rolls is way much easier with shorter hair, but I'll leave that for another time.

That brings us to today.
I tried out one of my favorite updos, that is inspired by Audrey Hepburn updo in movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's".

Can't wait to do more stuff with my hair!
