Winter is close.

So,  I was... let's go with... surprised to learn winters are milder where I live now, to where I lived before.
I mean... come on, it's only 600 kilometers apart.

But yes, it is warmer here... I am not complaining... I'm just used to be more cold.

I now understand why my boyfriend was so shocked to see that much snow last winter when we were at my parents house, cause there isn't so much snow here!

Don't misunderstand me, it's still cold here and I'm still gonna need to do a lot of layering.

That is why, I am always in the search for a good, vintage, button down sweater.

Even though we have a lot of second hand shops here, neither is specialised for vintage clothing. So I have to  be resourceful.

I found a white sweater at one of  the second hand shops, and I really loved it when I bought it. But when I tried it again back at home, it looked so... plain.

Now what? I should improve it! But how?
I don't have the slightest idea.

It bugged me for days, and then an idea popped in. Beads. Pearls to be presize. I decided to go and buy some big, white and cheap ones.

Then, one day I was at the green market and nearby is this old flea market. I decided to go, just to see what is offering, and there they were... necklaces with small, creamy pearls. They were perfect! Cheap and fake, but way more better than the ones I had in mind.

That's what I'll be doing this week.
Improving a sweater.

Too much...

Too much time has passed since I last posted. But, between sister visiting me at my new home, being sick, starting a new business with my lovely boyfriend and going visiting my parents, I just didn't have any strength left in my body. But now I'm back!

The boyfriend and I went for a walk, and on the way we made a friend.

He reminded us of our dogs, which we have to leave behind with our families, when we moved in together.

...and even though I miss my dogs, family (especially, when I saw that my mom carved a pumpkin for me, on Halloween to surprise me) it's all worth it, to be with the love of my love.
